The YBF 2014 and 2015 / Tate Britain
The YBFs (Young British Foodies) are a collective founded by food writer Chloe Scott Moncrieff, cult baker Lily Vanilli and Taste PR founder Amy Whyte. Born out of a frustration of other industry awards seemingly recognising the same people year on year, this annual awards event champions the fresh and the innovative talent at the heart of the UK’s food renaissance.
The YBF Awards 2014 and 2015 were hosted by Tate Britain who opened up their hallowed walls to something a little unusual. Thirty butchers, bakers, chefs, liquor connoisseurs and micro brewers collaborated on mouth watering menus showcasing some of the best in UK F&B talent.
