The 2018 YBF Awards was the fifth time Bang Bang was asked to produce this event, so I've had the pleasure of watching it evolve over the years from stages on staircases to this years high-tech auditorium set (with video!) as the YBFs itself grows. This years event was hosted by The Store and we invited YBF Alumni John Chantarasak, Anglo Thai, to create the menu, complimented by snacks from Snackbar and an original YBF flavour soft serve created by Terri Mercieca from Happy Endings. A hole-in-the-wall style sandwich shack was home to Max Halley, Max's Sandwich Shop, who served up Shooters Sandwiches with TABASCO®. Also on the menu was fried chicken and mac 'n cheese by the Harrods chefs, The YBFs Table where finalists showcased their food and the YBFs Dessert table by the super talented baking finalists. The venue was littered with illustrations by Meg Abbot, and 12 metre long bar was dressed with real fern wallpaper by Still Life Flowers. For the run down of the 2018 winners, take a look here.
