To kick off The YBFs 2018 campaign a dinner attended by judges such as Yotam Ottolenghi, Richard Turner and Anna Jones was hosted at The Stores and produced by Bang Bang. The menu was created by YBF alumni, with Luke Cockerill on the mains and 2017 dessert winner Terri Mercieca from Happy Endings creating the finale. With 2017 drinks winner Ruth Spivey creating the wine pairings and artwork by previous nominee Meg Abbott, this was a true celebration of the YBFs.
