Root + Bone / Butchers Banquet
Root + Bone is a quarterly magazine on the offcuts of food culture. The Butchers Banquet was the first of a series of supper clubs designed to bring together chefs and peers together over good food and good drink, documented for the magazine. Food laid on by Richard Turner (Hawksmoor) and James Mellor (Cabrito) was a nod to the upcoming Meatopia.
Taking place amongst the farm life and vegetable gardens of Spitalfields City Farm, this event was styled simply with charcoal candles on sleepers found on the farm.
